Account Closure & Dormant Funds Policy
גרסה 2026-10-25 · בתוקף מ-25 באוקטובר 2026
בקצרה
- You can ask us to close your account at any time.
- Open orders are cancelled; positions you hold settle under the market rules.
- Withdrawals are not available yet — read "Your balance" before you close.
הסיכום הזה נועד לנוחות בלבד. הנוסח המלא שלהלן הוא המחייב.
1. Closing your account
Email support@tufdog.com from the address on your account and ask us to close it. When we close it:
- you are signed out everywhere and can no longer sign in;
- your open orders are cancelled and the money held for them is released to your balance;
- contracts you still hold stay in place until their markets settle or are voided, under the market rules;
- your email address and Google or Apple sign-in are released, so you could open a new account with them later.
Closing your Tufdog account does not close any Victoi account you have, and the other way round.
2. Your balance
Withdrawals are not available yet. Your balance remains yours. If you want it back before withdrawals are available, or your account is closed (by you or by us), email support@tufdog.com: we will return your available balance to the card or wallet you deposited with where the payment processor allows it, or otherwise by another method we agree with you, after any checks the law requires (which may include verifying your identity). We aim to do this within 30 days of your request.
When withdrawals are available, we will return your balance to you on closure, subject to any checks the law requires and the fees in our Fee Schedule.
3. When we close or suspend an account
We may suspend or close an account as set out in our Terms — for example for a breach of the Terms, at a regulator's or court's request, or when we stop offering the Service where you are. We will tell you why where the law allows, and handle your orders, positions and balance as above.
4. Self-exclusion
If you want to stop because trading is becoming a problem, see our Responsible Trading page: a self-exclusion also stops you opening a new account.
5. Dormant accounts and funds
- An account is dormant after 24 months in which you have not signed in, traded or made a deposit. Before we treat it as dormant we will email you.
- Fees: we do not charge any fee on a dormant account.
- Unclaimed funds: a dormant balance remains yours and we never take it as our own. If a law requires us to hand unclaimed balances to a public authority, we will try to contact you by email first and then follow that law; you may then be able to claim the money from that authority.
- A dormant account can be re-activated by signing in, subject to any checks we then need.
6. Your information after closure
We keep the records the law requires after an account closes, then delete or anonymise them. See How long we keep your information.
